This Privacy Policy explains what Web Rampage collects and how we use it. We aim to keep things simple and respectful.
1. What this game does
When you play, the game may fetch a public web page (or a snapshot of it) so it can build a temporary playable level in your browser. That is for entertainment only and does not change the real website.
2. Information we process
- URLs you enter — used to load the game level. We may cache public page HTML on our server so many players loading the same site get a faster experience. Cache entries are deleted after 7 days.
- Settings & progress in your browser — things like trophies, recent sites, or preferences may be stored in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device unless you clear it.
- Basic server logs — like most websites, our server may briefly log technical details (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability.
We do not ask you to create an account to play.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use gameplay to permanently alter third-party websites.
- We do not intentionally collect passwords or private account data from other sites.
4. Third parties
The game may use public fonts, screenshot helpers, or CORS helpers when needed to load a page. Those services have their own privacy practices. Featured / founder listings are optional promotions and are not an endorsement of every site players can type.
5. Website owners & companies
If your company does not want your website used in this fun destruction game, email us and we will handle removal / blocking requests as soon as we reasonably can.
